Sunday School

St. George has a great Sunday School with excellent teachers and many classrooms. We hope you will partake in this wonderful Church School opportunity.

The Church School theme for the 2024 – 2025 year is: Be a witness (thankful, loving) to Jesus Christ in our daily lives! Our Antiochian Archdiocese Department of Christian Education continues to produce excellent new curriculum, so, this Spring, some of our classes will be engaging in lessons about the Books of Luke and Acts.

As a reminder, lessons are usually weekly, begin at 9:00am. Students and teachers convene in the St. George Hall for a conversation with the priest and announcements. Students will be dismissed with their teachers to their classrooms by 9:15am. Lessons end just before the start of Divine Liturgy. (Families of PreK through Grades 2 students, please “pick up” your children from their classrooms for church.)

Registration opens for St. Mary’s Summer Church Camp at 10am on March 1 and occurs on CampDoc. Rates are the least expensive if you register early: $575 through the 15th of March, then $600 through the 31st of March, then $640 through the 15th of April.

ST. GEORGE FAMILIES:  Please join us for Liturgy and fellowship on Lazarus Saturday, April 12.  After the 10am service, we’ll be in the hall decorating with palms and making Palm Sunday procession candles. There will be crafts and treats for children of all ages.  Reminder to Church School, there will be no lessons on PASCHA (April 20)
